At the request of the Foggy Bottom West End Village I will be giving a Lecture this Thursday, October 24, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Parish, Guild Room, 2430 K Street NW. This Lecture will discuss the these three most important documents that you need to remain independent:
- (1) Advance Directives;
- (2) Powers of Attorney for Financial and Healthcare Decisions; and
- (3) Will or Trust.
Following the lecture I will be glad to entertain any questions you may have regarding these directives.
As you may already know our practice at Fawcett & Fawcett PLLC focuses on elder-law, guardianships, conservatorships, durable powers of attorney, supplemental needs trusts, and the representation of families of special needs children and of persons with disabilities. I am a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and a member of the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York bars, and of the National Academy of Elder Lawyers.
